In coordination with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security Group is actively monitoring the following anticipated demonstrations and special events in or near the Chicago Loop. Listings are updated on a regular basis, and are presented in chronological two-week periods.

Anticipated Events and Protests

  • Thursday, October 2 at 4:30pm: 500 N Kingsbury (Chicago River – North Branch), Group will gather for their cause “Chicago River Flotilla (For Palestine)” 
  • Thursday, October 2 at 6:00pm: 500 W Madison (Israeli Consulate), Group may gather for their cause “Global Sumud Flotilla is Under Attack. Break the Siege!”
  • Friday, October 3 at 6:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Ride For Palestine (Bike Caravan)”
  • Saturday, October 4 at 2:00pm: E Wacker / N Michigan, Group will gather/march for their cause “2 Years of Genocide – 2 Years of Resistance”
  • Sunday October 5 at 12:00pm: 110 W Madison, Group may gather for their cause “Animal Rights”
  • Tuesday, October 7 at 8:00am: Various locations as noted below, Group will gather for their cause “Behind Enemy Lines: No Business as Usual” ^

  • Tuesday, October 7 at 4:00pm: 500 W Madison (Israeli Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “No Business as Usual: Escalate for Gaza” ^
  • Wednesday, October 8 at 12:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Government Shutdown Emergency Rally: Stand with Federal Workers”
  • Wednesday, October 8 at 4:30pm: 230 W Monroe (AIPAC), Group may gather for their cause “Tell Representative Quigley: Block the Bombs”
  • Wednesday, October 8 at 5:30pm: E Ida B Wells / S Michigan, Group will gather for their cause “ICE, National Guard Out of Our Streets”
  • Friday, October 10 at 12:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group may gather for their cause “ICE Gestapo Out of Chicago”
  • Friday, October 10 at 5:00pm: 720 S Michigan (Hilton), Group will gather for their cause “Zionist Cory Booker Not Welcome in Chicago”
  • Friday, October 10 at 6:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Ride for Palestine (Bicycle Caravan)”
  • Saturday, October 11 at 6:00am: 400 S Columbus (Grant Park), Group will gather for their event “Abbott Chicago 5K”
  • Saturday, October 11 at 9:00am: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group may gather for their cause “Ice Melts Under Unity: Solidarity Shakeout Run”
  • Saturday, October 11 at 12:00pm: 901 N Rush (Tesla Dealership), Group will gather for their cause “Tesla Takedown!”
  • Saturday, October 11 at 2:00pm: 320 N Morgan, Group may gather for their cause “Funds Not Feds Rally”
  • Saturday, October 11 at 2:00pm: Ida B Wells / S Michigan, Group may gather for their cause “Embarrass Harris”
  • Sunday, October 12 at 6:00am: 100 S Columbus (Grant Park), Group will gather for their event “Chicago Marathon” *
  • Monday, October 13 at 8:00am: 300 N State to 600 S State, Group will gather/march for their event “Columbus Day Parade”
  • Monday, October 13 at 7:00pm: 1410 Special Olympics (Soldier Field), Group will gather for their event “Argentina versus Puerto Rico [Cancelled]” ** 
  • Tuesday, October 14 at 4:00pm: 219 S Dearborn (Dirksen Federal Building), Group will gather for their cause “National Day of Remembrance for George Floyd Not Racist Charlie Kirk””
  • Ongoing: Deployment of additional federal immigration agents, including Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is expected to continue; Counterprotests will be frequent and ongoing
  • Ongoing: Short-notice protests opposing current federal administration policies will continue with localized traffic and transit disruptions
  • Ongoing: Daily protests are possible at 55 E Monroe/50 E Adams for immigration hearing/court proceedings, and at 101 W Ida B Wells for regional ICE offices

Event/Protest Best Practices

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
