In coordination with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security Group is actively monitoring the following anticipated special events and protests in or near the Chicago Loop. Listings are updated on a regular basis, and are presented in two-week chronological periods.
Anticipated Events and Protests
- Friday, September 11 to Wednesday, September 16: Various locations, Groups may gather/drive for their event “Mexican Independence Day Celebrations” ^
- Thursday, September 17 at 11:00am: 555 W Monroe (State of Illinois), Group may gather for their cause “Constitution Day: Rally to Restore Second Chances”
- Saturday, September 19 at 5:00pm: 71 W Van Buren (Federal Detention Center), Group will gather for their cause “Running Down the Walls”
- Sunday, September 20 at 12:00pm: 1410 Special Olympics (Soldier Field), Group will gather for their event “Chicago Bears NFL Game”
- Thursday, September 24 at 1:00pm: 100 W Erie (Chinese Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “The World Stands with Wang Wang”
- Sunday, September 27 at 11:00am: 205 E Randolph (Harris Theater), Group will gather for their cause “Mariano’s, Kroger: Empty the Cages”
- Monday, September 28 at 7:00pm: 1410 Special Olympics (Soldier Field), Group will gather for their event “Chicago Bears NFL Game”
- Ongoing: Contract negotiations between hotels and union employees have reportedly reached an impasse; Work stoppages and picketing could begin as early as September 17
- Ongoing: Short-notice protests opposing current federal administration policies will continue with localized traffic and transit disruptions
