- Tuesday, March 17 at 5:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group may gather for their cause “Free President Maduro, No War on Venezuela”
- Friday, March 20 at 12:00pm: 160 N LaSalle (State of Illinois), Group will gather for their cause “Demand Illinois Divest from Genocide”
- Saturday, March 21 at 1:00pm: 806 N Michigan (Water Tower), Group will gather for their cause “Chicago Make Iran Great Again”
- Sunday, March 22 at 7:00am: E Monroe / N Columbus (Grant Park), Group will gather for their event “Shamrock Shuffle” **
- Wednesday, March 25 at 4:30pm: 401 N Michigan, Group may gather for their event “Teen Trend” ^
- Thursday, March 26 at 12:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather for their cause “Equal Pay Day Rally”
- Thursday, March 26 at 5:00pm: 219 S Dearborn (Dirksen Federal Building), Group will gather for their cause “While Maduro’s in Court, We’ll Be in the Streets”
- Saturday, March 28 at 12:00pm: 331 E Grand (Navy Pier), Group may gather for their event “Annual Teen Bash”
- Saturday, March 28 at 1:00pm: Grant Park, Group will gather/march for their event “No Kings” – anticipated route below *

- Saturday, March 28 at 1:00pm: 455 N Cityfront (Indian Consulate), Group may gather for their cause “Stop Operation Kagar”
- Tuesday, March 31 at 5:30pm: 201 E Randolph (Millennium Park), Group may gather for their event “DT Takeover Part Three” ^
- Ongoing: Deployment of additional federal immigration agents, including Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) may continue; Counterprotests will be frequent and ongoing
- Ongoing: Short-notice protests opposing current federal administration policies will continue with localized traffic and transit disruptions
Notes/Analysis
* = Very large social media presence and part of a nationwide protest; Turnout could be very high depending on weather conditions; There will be smaller neighborhood gatherings and “feeder marches” to main event
** = High volume race/run event with extensive street closures in Loop, River North, and South Loop
^ = Occasional meet ups of teens and young adults organized via social media; Attendance is highly weather dependent
Event/Protest Best Practices
- If you see something suspicious, report it
- Carry water and stay hydrated
- Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
- Utilize the buddy system
- Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
- Leave any valuables at home
- Do not jump any barricades
- Secure handbags and wallets
- Stay calm and pleasant
- Follow your own instincts
- Leave yourself room to move quickly
