Schedules Available:

Shift A:Saturday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours/week)

Shift B:Saturday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (24 hours/week)

Payrate $21.00 p/hr

Weekend and holiday availability is required

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

  • Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols,responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
  • Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc.
  • Front Desk:Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Working Team Leader on shift
  • Interact with all guests (clients, residents and visitors) in a professional demeanor
  • Ensure officers are performing all assigned duties including but not limited to time sheets, daily logs, activity and incident reports
  • Review and verify all reports and logs for accuracy
  • Utilize approved security equipment (CCTV, radios, computers/tablets etc.)
  • Effectively communicate all pertinent information to team in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment)
  • Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Observe and report all suspicious activity
  • Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies
  • Maintain compliance with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and Foreign Trade Zone (where applicable)
  • Completes incident reports as required
  • All supervisory requirements as necessary
  • Maintaining schedules to ensure all contracted hours are met
  • Oversee officer training
  • Supervise all officers assigned to section
  • Perform schedule modifications to the master schedule
  • Assign workload / responsibilities to all officers as needed
  • Perform daily post inspections on officers (all shifts)
  • Attend meetings with Upper Management and/or Client when requested
  • Act as liaison between Upper Management and officers
  • Maintain daily read or pass-on files
  • Training Packets for new officers
  • Escalates Security/Fire/Safety issues to Security Leadership immediately
  • Other duties to be determined by management

Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Valid TN Security License (Required)
    • Valid TN Driver's Licenseand clean driving history (Required)
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of one year previous security experience required
    • Flexible/ on- call schedule availability
    • Professional demeanor and appearance
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Attentive to detail
    • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
