The Director will oversee security personnel, ensuring the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated. The Director will also work closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the association.

Salary

$75,000-$80,000 yearly

A Director of Operations isa leadership position responsible for overseeing a number of accounts.This role involves developing and implementing security procedures, managing security personnel, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy and Policy:

Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and procedures aligned with the organization's objectives and industry best practices.

• Security Operations:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the security team, including monitoring, detection, response, and recovery capabilities.

• Risk Management:

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks to protect assets, data, and personnel. '

• Incident Response:

Leading incident response efforts, including investigations, crisis management, and the development of standard operating procedures.

• Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security.

• Personnel Management:

Recruiting, training, and supervising security personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

• Communication and Collaboration:

Effectively communicating security risks and strategies to stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams.

• Continuous Improvement:

Identifying opportunities for improvement in security processes, technologies, and procedures.

• Security Expertise:Deep knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.

• Knowledge of Relevant Regulations:Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to the Department of Agriculture.

Qualifications:

• Valid FL Security D License
• Valid FL Driver's License
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum of three years - five years previous security supervision or leadership experience required
• Flexible/ on- call schedule availability
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attentive to detail
• Must be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
