In coordination with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security Group is actively monitoring the following anticipated special events and protests in or near the Chicago Loop. Listings are updated on a regular basis, and are presented in two-week chronological periods.

Anticipated Events and Protests

  • Saturday, February 7 to Monday, February 16: 2301 S Dr. Martin Luther King (McCormick Place), Group will gather for their event “2026 Chicago Auto Show” *
  • Sunday, February 15 at 12:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group will gather/ride for their cause “Ride for Palestine (Bicycle Caravan)”
  • Sunday, February 15 at 2:00pm: 400 N Michigan (Wrigley Building), Group will gather for their cause “Memorial Rally for Alexei Navalny”
  • Wednesday, February 18 at 2:05pm: Various Locations, Group will gather for their cause “Walkout and Protest Against Federal Law Enforcement in Chicago” **
  • Saturday, February 21 at 12:00pm: 400 N Michigan (Wrigley Building), Group will gather for their cause “United Against Massacre in Iran”
  • Saturday, February 21 at 5:00pm: 400 N Michigan (Wrigley Building) to 735 N State (Holy Name Cathedral), Group will gather/march for their cause “Four Years of War in Ukraine”
  • Wednesday, February 25 at 12:00pm: 500 W Madison (Israeli Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “We Remember and Honor Aaron Bushnell”
  • Wednesday, February 25 at 4:00pm: 555 W Monroe (State of Illinois), Group will gather for their cause “Divest from Israeli War Funding”
  • Wednesday, February 25 at 6:00pm: 122 S Michigan (Philippine Consulate), Group will gather for their cause “Let’s celebrate the 40th anniversary of People Power!”
  • Friday, February 27 at 6:00pm: 50 W Washington (Daley Plaza), Group may gather/ride for their cause “Ride for Palestine (Bicycle Caravan)”
  • Saturday, February 28 at 11:00am: 205 N Michigan, Group may gather for their cause “Rally in Support of Iran’s National Uprising” ^
  • Saturday, February 28 at TBD: 122 S Michigan (Philippine Consulate), Group may gather/march for their cause “Peace and Justice in the Philippines” 
  • Saturday, February 28 at 5:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “No War with Iran”
  • Ongoing: Deployment of additional federal immigration agents, including Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), may continue; Counterprotests will be frequent and ongoing
  • Ongoing: Short-notice protests opposing current federal administration policies will continue with localized traffic and transit disruptions
  • Pending/Possible: Organizers have called for a 5:00pm protest at Federal Plaza (230 S Dearborn) on the day of any additional U.S. attacks on the nation of Venezuela or on the nation of Iran [First protest held Saturday, January 3]

* = Continuing event is located just south of Chicago Loop, yet will have significant media coverage and traffic impacts

** = One of a series of anti-ICE student protests across multiple CPS schools; Likely to expand to private schools and to universities

^ = Part of an ongoing series, with small attendance/turnout; May seek to march to Daley Plaza (50 W Washington)

Event/Protest Best Practices

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
