Chicago Demonstration and Event Activity: March 1 to March 15, 2026

In coordination with our cross-sector public safety partners, Titan Security Group is actively monitoring the following anticipated special events and protests in or near the Chicago Loop. Listings are updated on a regular basis, and are presented in two-week chronological periods.

Anticipated Events and Protests

  • Saturday, March 7 at 1:00pm: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “Take Back Science”
  • Sunday, March 8 at 10:30am: 230 S Dearborn (Federal Plaza), Group will gather/march for their cause “International Women’s Day March and Rally” *
  • Sunday, March 8 at 2:00pm: 180 E Pearson (Water Tower), Group will gather for their cause “No to Palintr  Surveillance” 
  • Saturday, March 14 at 9:00am: 50 E Wacker Drive, Group will gather for their event “Dyeing of the Chicago River” **
  • Saturday, March 14 at 12:00pm: 600 S Columbus to 100 N Columbus, Group will gather for their event “St. Patrick’s Day Parade” **
  • Ongoing: Deployment of additional federal immigration agents, including Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), may continue; Counterprotests will be frequent and ongoing
  • Ongoing: Short-notice protests opposing current federal administration policies will continue with localized traffic and transit disruptions
  • Pending/Possible: Organizers have called for a 5:00pm protest at Federal Plaza (230 S Dearborn) on the day of any additional U.S. attacks on the nation of Venezuela or on the nation of Iran 

Notes/Analysis

* = Group has stated intent to march to Trump Tower at 401 N Wabash; Will likely rally in plaza at Wabash and Upper Wacker

** = Annual St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebrations in Chicago begin with a dyeing of the river during the morning, followed by a parade along Columbus Drive midday; expect large crowds and rolling street closures

Event/Protest Best Practices

  • If you see something suspicious, report it
  • Carry water and stay hydrated
  • Choose a landmark to meet at in case you are separated from your group
  • Utilize the buddy system
  • Remain alert and be observant of surroundings
  • Leave any valuables at home
  • Do not jump any barricades
  • Secure handbags and wallets
  • Stay calm and pleasant
  • Follow your own instincts
  • Leave yourself room to move quickly
